For years, it’s been the one name on every Dubai shopper’s list, a frequent question in online forums after a trip abroad: «When is Primark coming to Dubai?» That wait is officially over. The Irish retail giant is making its grand entrance into the Middle East, and it has chosen Dubai for its debut.
In a partnership with Alshaya Group, Primark has confirmed it will be opening three initial locations across the city. The arrival promises to bring the brand’s well-known affordable fashion, homeware, and accessories to a new audience.
The First Store Is Already Here
To put a cherry on top, the new Primark outlet is located in the heart of Dubai’s premier shopping destination – at Dubai Hills Mall. The outlet spans more than 60,000 square feet across a single floor and has employed more than 600 staff members.
The brand offers a series of selections ranging from womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, homeware and beauty, combining everyday essentials with trendy designs. You can also check out and purchase their exclusive collaborations with Disney, NBA, and NFL alongside Primark’s more premium range, The Edit.
A Trio of Locations Across the City
Following the initial launch, two more stores are planned to ensure accessibility across different parts of Dubai. A second branch will open at City Centre Mirdif in April. The third location will be at Mall of the Emirates in May, one of the city’s original malls, serving communities in and around Old Dubai. This strategic rollout covers several key areas of the city right from the start. The countdown has officially begun.
