XDubai Is Back With Another Crazy Activity

Who's craving some adrenaline?
Who's craving some adrenaline?
We’re massive fans of XDubai and their mission of transforming Dubai into one of the most active cities in the world. They’ve opened up a brand new activity that’s guaranteed to give even the toughest ones out there a run for their money…

The activity is known as the Human Slingshot and yes, it sounds just as insane as the name. Its been up and running since last Friday, which means plenty of people have already tested it out… so no worries about being one of the first to try it out. It’s safe, but definitely not for the faint hearted.

The slingshot is located at Kite Beach, one of the trendiest areas in the city and one of our personal favourites. Walk around the place and you’ll get a few Santa Monica vibes (if you know, you know). Let’s get to the details: you’ll be propelled 120 meters above the sand at a force of 4 Gs and a speed of 100 km/hr in half a second… who’s interested? Just fyi, this activity is strictly weekend specific so make sure you grab the tickets for either Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Tickets are sold for AED 280 per person, with that you get a stylish XDubai cap and an AED50 voucher that can be redeemed at either the XDubai gift shop, or used towards the Xline Dubai Marina experience. Age requirement is from 16 to 65 with a strict weight of 45-90kg and minimum height of 140cm.

Here’s a video of a few influencers giving it a go when it first opened – it’ll definitely get you pumped to try it!
