Yesterday the roads of Dubai started to flood and those on the road were told to be extra careful as it didn’t seem like it was going to get better anytime soon.
The flash flood warning seems to have become a reality, and the weather conditions can be described as unpredictable at best. Students at various UAE schools in areas with the worst of the flooding got some exciting news and were told the schools were closed due to the roads being completely flooded.
At this moment in time, it seems that those grey clouds are finally retreating back, allowing for the remaining water to evaporate and stop wreaking havoc within cities. Now that we’re almost in December, the weather will probably yo-yo back and forth with temperature drops, cloudiness, fog and potentially even more rain (which the country desperately needs, but maybe not to the point where people can’t go about their daily activities).
If you happened to be in one of the areas that managed to escape all the mayhem, check out this video filmed at a road in Sharjah to give you an idea of how crazy it got!
