Which? travel company collected data from several reports such as the World Economic Fund, World Risk Report and more in order to put together a list of the top 20 holiday destinations. As you can guess from the title, Dubai came up quite high on their list.
The data found that the UAE is one of the safest countries to visit and live in the entire world, we’re not one to brag but that’s a pretty great result. The only other country that beat us to the punch is Iceland, with Singapore, Spain and Australia taking the subsequent places after the UAE. If you know anything about Iceland, it’s not a surprise that it came up as number 1 on this list, especially considering its relatively small size and impeccably run government. Singapore is also pretty self-explanatory, but Spain’s relatively high position on the list might shock some – Which explained that they determined its place out of the six most popular European holiday destinations.
In case you want some more convincing on why you should plan a trip to the UAE at some point, another report found that Abu Dhabi is the safest city in the world for the second year in a row! Considering that it’s only an hour drive away from Dubai, it’s definitely worth checking out both cities on a trip because they each have so much to offer.
