Start jumping for joy as Dubai has dropped another record-breaking structure. This time though, it’s not a concrete skyscraper that will blow your mind. Lo and behold JumpX, the world’s largest inflatable bouncy castle has blown up into existence at the Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Spread out over a colossal area of 1,262 square metres in Riverland, this bouncy castle isn’t all hot air. Well, it is but you know what we mean. Don’t let its colourful exterior, or the occasional appearance by smurfs, lull you into thinking JumpX is child’s play. Open to adults too, this bouncy castle’s cutesy facade houses some serious GI Joe vibes that grown-ups will love.
Specialised adventure zones built into the bouncy castle for thrill-seeking teens; daredevils can scale climbable walls, crawl through tunnels, and navigate multi-level obstacle courses that test endurance. All without the fear of falling or getting hurt thanks to the springy floor. Think jungle gym but bouncier.
For parents who’d rather put their feet up, instead of bouncing on their heels, JumpX is perched next to a brand-new café. Considering all the energy your brood is set to burn off leaping and bounding around, they’ll hop off JumpX with a ravenous appetite that the cafe’s selection of hot drinks, snacks and typical themepark treats will satisfy.
The inflatable park is accessible on an hourly basis for AED 60 and will be open from 2pm to 8pm. But it can also be accessed at a discounted price by Dubai Parks and Resort’s annual pass holders, guests of the resort’s Lupita Hotel and those dining at Riverland’s restaurants.
