Kill three birds with one stone and follow the yellow brick road up from the Gold & Spice Souks and you’ll stumble into the Perfume Souk. The scents can either be in perfume, essential oil, incense sticks and of course, the famous oud that’s always a popular purchase to bring back home. The vendors are extremely knowledgeable about the oud they sell, so ask them any questions you may have! If you’re feeling creative, you can get your own personalized scent bottled up.

One of the more aesthetic souks that you’ll find in Dubai as it’s surrounded by the gorgeous scenery of Madinat. There’s restaurants, shops and even traditional dhow cruises on the water. This one can be found inside the massive The Dubai Mall, its existence would probably shock most as its Arabic design stands out against the overall modern and Western design of the mall. You’ll be able to find it just by the second entrance to the Cheesecake Factory (where the massive fossil structure of a dinosaur stands). Expect to find loads of handcrafted jewellery, with inspiration taken from Emirati heritage.
