Before you stress that there aren’t many activities within the cheaper spectrum of what’s available to do in Dubai, we’ve got you covered with these five (free) plans…
Aquarium View
The Dubai Aquiarium is one of the largest suspended aquariums that you’ll ever find in the world and we recommend spending an afternoon exploring inside it on a day when you’ve comitted to hanging out in Dubai Mall. However, one of the coolest things about this aquarium is that a large portion of it is exposed within the mall, which allows anyone to stop and have a look at the various speicies of fish that swim by such as sand sharks, sting rays, etc.
Dubai Fountains
One of the biggest attractions in the Downtown Area, it’s an absolute must when visiting Dubai. Not only is it breathtaking to watch, it’s easily accessible as shows happen every 30 minutes and best of all, it’s completely free. Oh and for true K Pop fans, you might be lucky enough to catch one of EXO’s songs during the month of September.
Gold + Spice Souk
One of the more traditional experiences you can have in Dubai, and although it isn’t 100% free in the scenario that you do want to buy something, entrance is completely free. So if you just want to have a look around at an Arabic souk, then this is your chance!
Wonder Around City Walk
Similar to the souk activity, City Walk is only free if you walk around the area, window shop, browse, and appreicate the futuristic vibe. It’s a great idea if you’ve got a free evening and want to explore somewhere new in the city. However, if you don’t mind spending a bit of money then there’s plenty of places to eat, watch movies, shop, etc.
Beach
Possibly one of the reasons we all love Dubai so much, apart from the horrendous heat during the summer, the weather the rest of the year is absolutely perfect and a day at the beach is one of the best things to do. Although there are also tons of beach clubs with paid entry, there’s equally as many public beach options, which is great if you wanna rock up with a towel and go for a little dip/soak up the sun.
