After surviving the worst storm the UAE has experienced since 1949, we’re slowly resuming normal life with the workforce trickling back to offices, water-logged roads speedily being drained to clear out Dubai road closures and public transport steadily sputtering back to life. Authorities are still assessing the destructive aftermath of the storm and the damage it’s caused to infrastructure around the country.
Here’s the most recent update of which metro lines are working, roads that are safe to access within Dubai as well as highways to commute from Dubai to Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman and Al Ain.
