There’s no denying it: beach clubs are an essential part of Dubai life. How can they not be, when the temperatures start skyrocketing? Boasting luxurious pools, beach access, refined food and drink, and some undeniably intoxicating nightlife events, the city’s beach clubs will keep you relaxed and entertained from sunup t0 sundown and beyond. So, get planning your next pool day with our guide to a selected handful of the best places in town!
1. Cove Beach
Bluewaters is the spot to be for Mediterranean ambience, as this beach club from the Caesars Palace team comes fully equipped with private cabanas and azure waters. There’s no shortage of entertainment either, as live music on Friday nights and free-flowing rosé on Wednesdays between 12-5pm will keep the good vibes going all day long.

2. Azure Beach
Voted the best beach club in Dubai for 2021 and 2022, this place has a big reputation backing it up. You’ll find it JBR, part of the Rixos Premium hotel and a spot which offers direct access to Jumeirah Beach. The best part? If the beach club’s infinity pool isn’t your thing, there are bookable private pools to enjoy instead.
Rixos Premium Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai.
3. Train Beach Club
Fitness aficionados can head for the tricked-out gym (explains the ‘Train’ part nicely, doesn’t it), whilst foodies might prefer the restaurant or shisha terrace. Me? I’ll be making a direct line to the pool-adjacent sunbeds to work on the tan. The quads can wait until total relaxation has been achieved…
LaMer Beach, 2 A St, Jumeirah 1, Dubai.
4. Soho Beach DXB
Now for a beach club that’s actually… not all that close to the beach. For this, we turn our attention to Meydan Racecourse, and the tranquil surrounds of Soho Beach DXB. The location means that there’s less sand (unless we’re counting the desert), but what it lacks in beachside vibes, it more than makes up for with the epic entertainment on offer. Let’s just say that when you hear the words ‘pool party’, the emphasis is on ‘party’…
Al Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba 1, Dubai.
5. February 30
February 30th might be an impossibility, but February 30 certainly isn’t. You’ll know the Beirut-based import from the vibrant red and white-striped umbrellas, and a plum spot on Palm Jumeirah’s Palm West Beach doesn’t hurt the appeal either.
West Beach Palm, Jumeirah, Dubai.
6. Barasti Beach
The ever-popular Barasti Beach is a stalwart amongst Dubai’s beach clubs, with a winsome mix of sports screenings, parties, and relaxed food offerings. The casual vibes are often supplemented by a spectacular summer pop-up – check out 2022’s tropical rainforest canopy for evidence of this – and Happy Hour and Ladies Day are both popular times to pay a visit.
Le Meridien Mina Syahi Beach Resort & Marina, Dubai Marina.
7. Drift Beach Dubai
For sheer elegance, it’s hard to top Drift Beach amongst Dubai beach clubs. For one, the views across to Palm Jumeirah and back to the Dubai skyline are something special, particularly if you’re reclining in one of the private pool sun loungers. A carefully-considered selection of bites from the Pool Bar will ensure you don’t go hungry, so really, there’s no excuse not to relax.
One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai.
