Dubai’s fitness scene has seen sunrise runs, obstacle races, beach workouts and marathon challenges. Now it’s getting something far more delicious. The viral Ice Cream Run is coming to Dubai for the first time, bringing a playful twist to the city’s running calendar. Organised by SQUATWOLF in partnership with Morn Brew Café, the one-off event will take place at Kite Beach. It gives runners the chance to make their own ice cream while completing a 10K route.
Run first, ice cream later
Participants at the ice cream run will get a custom ice-cream-churning kit designed to freeze the ingredients while running. By the time runners cross the finish line, they will have worked up a sweat and created a frozen treat. Sounds impossible, right? We thought so too! But SQUATWOLF is breaking boundaries.
The event marks SQUATWOLF’s 10th anniversary, with a collection of flavours inspired by the brand’s journey. Expect combinations featuring pistachio, strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, dates, matcha, mint chocolate chip, peanut butter, chocolate and lotus flavours.
With just 50 spots available, this could be one of the most unusual fitness events Dubai sees this summer. The Ice Cream Run starts at 6am at Kite Beach, where participants will receive a SQUATWOLF performance vest along with their personal ice-cream-making kit.

The challenge covers a full 10K route, but runners won’t have to worry about their ingredients melting under the Dubai sun. Organisers have planned an ice refuelling station at the 5K mark where participants can top up their ice supply before continuing the run.
Once the run is complete, participants can head to Morn Brew Café for a complimentary coffee and enjoy 15 per cent off the menu for the day. And frankly, finishing a 10K and being rewarded with coffee and ice cream feels like the kind of life choice everyone can get behind.
