The Souk Madinat Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most popular tourist hot spots, because of its lovely views and modern twist on the traditional Arabic souk. We’ve listed a few of our top highlights below…
What better way to connect with animals than at The Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project in the Jumeirah hotel. The initiative finds sick or injured turtles, brings them back to health and then returns them back to their natural habitat. By participating, you get the opportunity to feed the turtles and learn about how they rehabilitate them by the team members.
As the name suggests, one of the main reasons people come here is because of the traditional style souk (that’s equipped with AC) and filled with tons of stalls where you can find rugs, crafts, jewellery, antiques and many more only in Dubai trinkets.
The Meat Co is one of the many restaurants you can find in the Madinat area, but it’s one of our favourites. Who doesn’t enjoy a good steakhouse once in a while? Located right on the waterfront, the food follows an African cuisine with tons of meat and seafood as their speciality.
The water taxi’s known as wooden abras take you on a journey through the canals and waterways as you get to see the sights of the entire Madinat area. We highly recommend going at night, because it’s a very magical vibe.
To end the day, why not pamper yourself and book an appointment at the Talise Spa at the Jumeirah hotel. It’s one of the most popular spas in Dubai and customers always leave satisfied and refreshed.
