With headphones on and your curiosity activated, you’ll become a co-investigator working alongside an agent from an art theft bureau, following a trail across centuries and civilisations to uncover what became of cultural artifacts and artworks that were stolen, destroyed, hidden or simply vanished.
You won’t be solving the case by staring politely at labels on the wall either. Instead, Treasures Wanted blends physical sets and artifacts with spatial audio, video mapping, motion installations, interactive maps and reconstructed imagery, turning history into something you can actually move through. One moment you’re deep into the story of an ancient civilization, while another drops you into the aftermath of an infamous art crime. There are clues to follow, spaces to investigate and details hidden throughout the experience, but we won’t spoil beyond that and leave the actual discoveries to you.
What makes this experience so special is how hands-on it all feels. You’ll most-likely find yourself scanning for information, searching an environment with a flashlight or examining a scene for the next piece of the story, while the immersive headphone narration pulls everything together around you.
