Breakfast at Tiffany’s is no longer a classic Hollywood flick we watch on repeat. You can make your Holly Golightly dreams come true by rocking up to the Middle East’s first Tiffany Blue Box Cafe in Dubai Mall’s Grand Atrium. Only three others exist in the world in New York, Hong Kong and London.
This first-ever Blue Box Cafe opened inside the flagship New York Fifth Avenue store in 2017. Yes, the one whose storefront windows Audrey Hepburn gazes through while elegantly munching on a croissant.
What does the Tiffany Blue Box Cafe in Dubai serve?
You definitely won’t have to bring your own pastries a la Ms. Hepburn in the Truman Capote movie. Coming dressed in spectacular evening wear is optional too. This cosy little 38-seater dining area is tucked away inside the Tiffany & Co. store in Dubai Mall but it’s got a whole lot of oomph and a menu full of culinary jewels.
Seasonal cuisine will be at the forefront here and you’ll find yourself tucking into French-inspired New York delicacies. You can choose from a chic Breakfast At Tiffany’s breakfast, a luxurious afternoon tea and an all-day dining menu that will cater to hunger pangs that arise during the rest of the day.
What does the Tiffany Blue Box Cafe look like?
Glittering, glimmering mirrors around the Blue Box Cafe recreate the sparkle of the diamond rings and jewellery the brand is known for. A beautiful chandelier-like centrepiece made of iconic Tiffany Blue boxes (the very same that has women faint with excitement and anticipate a proposal) cascades from the ceiling.
Besides, splashes of the signature turquoise shade extend across the marble and vinyl-clad interiors. Could this be the backdrop for some epic proposals? Time will tell. But it sure can elevate an average coffee date to new heights of sophistication
