Obviously, everyone has their own preferences of their ideal day at any mall, but we like to put these little guides together for those of you who have never visited a particular mall and are looking for a few suggestions. Think of the Marina Mall as the smaller, less intimidating little cousin of Dubai Mall – perfect for those who prefer to shop in non-crowded, easy to navigate spaces.
XDubai has relaunched their thrilling zip line and it’s double the previous distance! Whether its your first time or you’re coming back for more – buy your tickets now to experience this adrenaline-filled trip! The zip line starts at Marina Mall so all you have to do is show up to the kiosk with your ticket to hear the safety briefing and get suited up! Afterwards, you’ll be transported to the Amwaj Towers where you’ll be pushed off on the journey at a speed of up to 80km/h and 170m above the ground, ending up back at the Marina Mall.
Although there’s nothing particularly special about the fact that you can find a Sephora since it’s pretty much in every major mall in Dubai, the reason it’s on this list is that the other branches tend to be extremely packed and super chaotic inside. So if you want to look for your makeup in peace and be guaranteed an employee’s undivided attention/assistance, this is the place to go.
Similar to the situation with Sephora, there’s nothing crazy about finding an Addidas at a mall, but since it tends to be quite empty it’s the best place to have a browse without being attacked by crowds. They have stores for both types of Addidas’ as well and there’s a relatively big collection to look through – happy shopping!
Reel Cinemas is probably your best bet if you’ve had a busy day of walking around/shopping and just want to unwind for a few hours. With the Christmas spirit upon us, you have to watch the Grinch and if you’re feeling extra bougie, why not go for the platinum experience!
As you can probably guess from the name, this is your Italian restaurant. They’re known for their pastries, which are absolutely delicious, but you can also find a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Does this place even need a description? If you’ve never had the pleasure of tasting one of the burgers at this place, then we highly recommend you put it to the top of your list. The red and white 50s-esque aesthetic, juicy burgers, milkshakes and bottomless (sort of) fries are to die for.
Le Pain Quotidien
Everyone needs a little bit of a healthier option and Le Pain never disappoints. With chains all over the world, chances are you’ve eaten at one of them at some point right? They’re known for their healthy but delicious varieties of French-inspired cuisine.
We can never resist a cinnamon roll if we catch a Cinnabon in the corner of our eyes, so naturally, we had to put it on this list. It makes the perfect little snack or dessert!
There’s not that much to do inside the mall that fits an evening vibe, like a lounge or bar, but we recommend just taking a stroll around the Marina itself. Something about being around the water and seeing the parked boats just puts you at ease.
