Are you still deciding which of Dubai’s epic firework displays you want to see this NYE? Well, after you hear what’s happening in Ras Al Khaimah, you won’t be able to resist checking it out.
This New Years Eve head over to Al Marjan Island if you want to witness Ras Al Khaimah attempting to break a Guinness World Record with their 12 minute firework display. The emirate is notorious for their spectacular annual fireworks, but this year they’re taking it to a whole other level. They haven’t broke the news of which record they’re attempting to break, but last year they successfully managed to secure the “Largest Aerial Firework Shell” title, which means they’ve already got big expectations to fill.
Not only do you get the chance to be a part of history, but you can make a whole evening out of the event as there will be live music, food trucks and much more to keep the whole family thoroughly entertained from about 5pm onwards. Best of all, entry is completely free! You can also catch the fireworks from Al Hamra Village and Al Shohadah Street if they’re closer to you location wise. There will be shuttle buses available from Al Hamra, Mina Al Arab and Ras Al Khaimah, so don’t worry about getting around if you’re not coming by car. For more information, click here.
Don’t forget about the special RTA offer this NYE to watch the fireworks of all three famous spots in Dubai from the water!
