The Christmas markets you’ve been wondering about in Dubai

Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market

Madinat Jumeirah is one of our favourite areas of Dubai and if you haven’t been to the area yet, then you should definitely visit the annual Christmas market because it transforms from gorgeous to absolutely magical. Taking place from December 20th – 28th, you have just over a week to schedule your trip there so make sure you don’t miss out. The vibe takes inspiration from traditional German markets with all those yummy food stalls selling mini pancakes, hot cocoa and more. The kids will have a whole gingerbread house making station to keep them entertained and to tie all of Madinat together, is the massive Christmas tree glistening in all its glory. Check out the youtube video below to give you a little tour of what you can expect:

Christmas Market at Reform Social & Grill

This is one of the more lowkey markets you can visit as it only takes place over two weekends. Sadly, the first one just passed but the next one is happening this weekend so make sure you have your Saturday free. You can have a browse through the various vendors/stalls selling an assortment of potential Christmas gifts, whilst the kids write their wishes to Santa and sit on his lap. Located at Reform & Grill, The Lakes.

Winter Garden Market at Habtoor Palace

This market at the Habtoor Palace will begin next Monday, December 4th and take place until December 21st, which is good news for all of us who want to visit multiple times or like having the time to plan a day that works best. The vibe is reminiscent of Winter Wonderland in London, which if you’ve ever been you know is a dream to walk around in. The kids will be delighted to hear that Santa will be in attendance and if you come the opening night you’ll get to catch the lighting ceremony accompanied by Christmas carols from a choir. Admission is free and open from 3 pm-midnight.

Raffles Christmas Market

This Christmas market only takes place for a day, so make sure you don’t miss it. On December 7th from 1 pm – 6 pm, you can check the place out as a brunch guest and enjoy the free buffet or simply enter for free and look around the Raffles Garden and possibly grab a bite from the many food stalls around. Located at Raffles, Dubai.

Festive Market at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel

From the 20th to 28th of December, the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is setting up a Christmas market for all to enjoy. What sets this one apart from the others on this list? Well, how about a designated area to snow fight and bungee jump! Leave the kids to fight in the fake snow and visit Santa, while you taste all the yummy, cosy Christmas food and jam to the live music.
