What’s inside this secret speakeasy in Dubai
The minute you walk through the fridge door, you enter a mirrored corridor that takes you from the 1920s eatery (Wise Guys – a must try for their sandwiches) to the moody bar that won the TimeOut Best Speakeasy award.
Inspired by the Prohibition era, the décor is minimalist and cool. The interiors are all dark hues – greys and blacks. Two full-moon-shaped lights are backlit on walls on either side of the bar, shining like the moon. The electric atmosphere under the glow of the iridescent lights makes it one of the best bars in Dubai. And the fact that it is such a well-kept secret adds to its appeal.
A chic disco table with a stellar DJ line up every night, besides a bar serving cocktails that dance away the night. If you’re into house or electronic music, this is where you want to be. Oh and Friday nights add a little something special on the music list.
