But, we found a café that does something a little more – robotic and personalised. Soil Café on Kite Beach in Dubai is bringing in Yango Group robots to deliver coffee to guests this weekend. The company’s amazing technology is making its way into everyday café settings – and we’re excited!
Get served by robots at Soil Café
Kite Beach is coming alive (as much as robotly possible) with technology seeping into the hospitality scene. From May 6 to May 8, the robots will run daily from 3PM to 8PM.
And what’s crazier? The company’s AI assistant, Yasmina, will help the staff with drink recommendations and order management during peak hours. The assistant will answer questions, recommend drinks according to personal preferences and even support order requests. Who would’ve thought?
The Yango Group robots will deliver and hand the drinks directly to customers while Yasmina will focus more on staff interactions.
How do you get a table for this robot delivery experience?
Well, the best part is that there is absolutely no fee for café guests. The robots serving drinks is part of the normal service. You can order a tasty Peanut Butter Oats Protein Cup or a nice iced matcha in the heat
Moreover, there is no special booking required. You just walk in and sit, and well, get served by a robot. Just make sure you head there between 3PM to 8PM on May 6, 7 or 8!
