Relax Your Mind & Body At Dubai’s Yoga Studios

136.1 Yoga Studio

With a name that starts with 136.1 you can already sort of guess the type of experience you’re in for, right? Here’s what you’re in for: one of the most hip yoga studios in the city, with over 20 types of classes on offer daily, the perfect tranquil and serene aesthetic with views of the Dubai Marina and just the right amount of incense in the air at all times. Pro trip: if you take a class just as the sunsets, you’ll get the privilege of seeing all of the gorgeous colours flood in through the massive windows – it’s an esquisite experience.

Address: Trident Bayside

Yoga House

This studio is slightly less “insta aesthetic” and emulates a more cosy vibe. Located in the Greens culdesac, it’s the go-to place amongst the residents in the community and although it’s quite small, the quality of classes is absolutely unmatched. If you’re just starting out the yoga lifestyle, then we recommend trying this place out because the instructors are extremely welcoming and eager to help newcomers.

If you’ve looked at the address of this studio and confused where it’s located in the city, that’s the point. You can find it in the newly built residential area known as Al Barari, a sanctuary in the bustling city with a health club, restaurant and wide variety of flora/fauna all around. Similar to 136.1, the studio is quite the aesthetic treat as the giant windows give an incredible view of the lush scenery that evokes a sense of escapism even though you’ve technically not even left the city.

Address: Al Barari

Urban Yoga

The name is an accurate description for this studio as it’s pretty much taken straight out of a movie based in New York… you know where they feature a super trendy yoga class that takes place in a loft-style studio. Urban has classes for both small and large groups, taking place from sunrise to sunset – we recommend trying out as many as possible because each experience is so unique. Located in the Jumeirah area, which means you get to stare out at the beautiful glistening sea!

Address: Aspect Tower, Business Bay

Life’n One

This is the studio for all the hippes out there as it specializes in yogas such as, Hatha, Vinyasa, Tantra and Kundalini. If you’re looking for more spiritual activities, you’ll be pleased to know they also offer reiki, chakra-readings and more. For all the coffee lovers out there, make sure you check out One Cafe after a session and if you’re peckish there’s plenty of vegan food options.
