Here’s what to look forward to in 2019
Since we’ve entered our second week of January, it’s only right that we put together a list of upcoming events happening over the next couple of months. Keep an eye out on this article, because new content will be added over the course of the year.

Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

This is one of the most exciting events within the sports industry in the UAE, with tournament stops from the ATP World Tour and the WTA Tour. There will be a WTA Premier 5 women’s event as well as a ATP 500 men’s tournament. More information & tickets available soon.

Dubai Jazz Festival

The Dubai Jazz Festival  is an annual music event in which three artists are invited to perform over three days. Held at the Media City Ampitheatre, the headliners have already be confirmed; Snow Patrol, Jamiroquai and Alicia Keys. Buy your tickets ASAP, because it’s just over a month away. Cheese Festival

The Cheese Festival is exactly what you would expect from the name, a full day dedicated to trying free samples of some of the finest cheese from around the world. More info in the article linked above.

Dubai Food Festival

It’s only fitting that we include the food festival as a transition from cheese, and this one does not disappoint. You’ll find some of the best food that Dubai has to offer, with several activities including taste testing, menu’s from the finest restaurants in the city and various food trucks.

11th Annual Emirates Festival of Literature

This fest is perfect for the bookworms out there, suitable for all ages, it’s a week-long event to celebrate authors from around the world and of course, promote education and the joy of reading. Held at the InterContinental, more information coming soon.

When? 1st – 9th March

Dubai World Cup

The Dubai World Cup held at Meydan Racecourse is becoming one of the most coveted horse races in the world. Sponsored than none other than Emirates, the prizes available for winners can go up to as high as $7.2 million. If you love a day at the races, then make sure you have March 30th available on your calendar, because it’s definitely secured its reputation as the biggest sporting event in the city and a social occasion that can’t be passed up!
