Dubai’s luxury fashion calendar just gained another headline event. The Meld Concept in Dubai is now home to the limited-edition Maison Valentino Rockstud Salon pop-up. It is an immersive fashion activation celebrating the Valentino Garavani Rockstud universe and the launch of the Pre-Fall 2026 collection under Creative Director Alessandro Michele.
Running from May 15 to May 24, 2026, the Valentino pop-up in Dubai transforms the Jumeirah lifestyle space. It features the newest Rockstud pumps, studded accessories, and signature design codes.

The key launch is the new Maison Valentino Garavani Rockstud pumps from the Pre-Fall 2026 collection. Originally introduced on the Valentino Fall/Winter 2010–11 runway, the Rockstud silhouette has now been reimagined through Alessandro Michele’s maximalist lens.
The updated designs feature pointed toes, platinum-finish, signature Valentino red insoles, 100mm and 40mm heel variations, and neutral tones alongside bright ones. Alongside the pumps, visitors can explore strappy sandals, flats, and additional Valentino Garavani accessories that reinterpret the iconic Rockstud motif for 2026.
The story behind the iconic Rockstud campaign
The Valentino Garavani Rockstud line first debuted in 2010 and quickly became one of luxury fashion’s most recognizable accessories signatures. Over the years, the Rockstud evolved from a footwear detail into a defining Valentino category spanning heels, sandals, handbags, and accessories.

For Pre-Fall 2026, Alessandro Michele revisits the Rockstud identity with a more theatrical and contemporary direction. Since joining Maison Valentino, Michele has pushed the house towards vintage references and expressive styling – all visible in the new Dubai pop-up campaign imagery.
The Rockstud Salon concept also reflects luxury fashion’s current focus on more nuanced immersive retail experiences. Rather than traditional store launches, brands are increasingly working on creating temporary pop ups that let people come free and explore.
