Love Is In The Air is transforming The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates into a tablao (flamenco venue) for one night only on February 11.
This stunning flamenco performance by the Anabel Veloso Flamenco Company is as authentic as it gets – award-winning flamenco choreographer and dancer Anabel Veloso (who has floored the King and Queen of Spain) and her troupe of dancers will stomp their way right into your hearts with an emotional and powerful performance unlike any you’ve seen before.
She will be joined on stage by virtuosos of the flamenco world – musicians Isabel Canada Luna (soprano), Tala Tutunji (piano), and Gabriel Perez (guitar) will set the mood with flair and flamboyance. Here’s the twist: they’ll be entertaining you not with traditional scores, but with flamenco covers of popular English, Arabic and Spanish love songs that will be reimagined in the spirited flamenco style. The production promises an evening full of magical music, glorious costumes and performances so palpably passionate, your heart might skip a beat.
