It remains one of the most famous beach clubs in Dubai. The Barasti Beach Club is expected to reopen in 2027 with a completely new look and June 21, 2026 is the final opportunity to experience the original!
And no, the Barasti Beach Club will not be hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 live screenings since it will shut down starting June 22, 2026 onwards.

Barasti is one of Dubai’s longest-running beach clubs
Since opening in 1995, Barasti Beach Club has attracted tourists, long-time residents, sports fans and partygoers, all under one roof. While the current venue will disappear from the shoreline for a while, organisers have confirmed that Barasti will return in 2027 as a completely reimagined beachfront destination.
When Barasti opened in 1995, Dubai Marina did not resemble the skyline that exists today. The venue grew alongside the city, becoming one of the earliest places where residents could spend an entire day by the beach before staying on for live sports, sunset drinks and late-night entertainment.
What separated Barasti from many newer venues was its broad appeal. On any given weekend, the crowd could include tourists on holiday, football fans watching a big match, groups celebrating birthdays, beachgoers escaping the heat and long-time residents introducing newcomers to a place that had become something of a Dubai rite of passage.
The venue’s operators say the redevelopment aims to preserve that legacy while preparing Barasti for the next generation of visitors. Plans include multiple entertainment zones, expanded dining experiences, redesigned interiors and dedicated spaces catering to different audiences throughout the day and night.
