One of the parks in Dubai’s recently built Parks & Resorts, inside here you can find all the glitz, glamour, music and drama that we know and love about Bollywood. Since Diwali is an Indian holiday, the park has a few special deals, like free entry to the first 100 guests who come on the 9th and 10th of November. Tickets are also starting from AED99 and include performances, rides, food and much more. If you’re a Bollywood fan, then get excited because several famous singers are rumored to show up on both days, make sure to have your eyes peeled!
As with any festival, it’s mandatory to light up the sky with some fireworks and if any of you have celebrated NYE in the city, you know that Dubai really goes all out. If you want to catch the show, it’ll be held at Al Seef 8:30 tomorrow (November 8th) and stick around for the lighting ceremony which is an absolute marvel to witness.
Global Village is a theme park of sorts that’s split up according to counties and within each you can find food/various other items that represent a specific culture. It’s also a great place to come with the family as simply walking around is enchanting enough and the kids can enjoy the many rides/arcade games that can be found around the park as well. What better place to celebrate this Indian festival than in mini-India itself?
