Dubai’s best golf courses
We all know that golfing itself might not be the sport for everyone, it’s quite niche to say the least. However, that’s not to say that a day at the golf course can’t be more than just playing the game. Below are some of the best golf clubs in Dubai, where you can also have a yummy lunch and enjoy watching someone else play if you don’t.

Jumeirah Golf Estates (Earth & Fire)

Jumeirah Golf Estates, as is probably obvious from the name, is one of the most highly regarded and prestigious golf clubs in Dubai. With incredible views of green tidy grass, water, and beautiful homes in a gated community, you won’t want to leave this place. The estates comprise of two environmentally friendly golf courses designed by Greg Norman, titled Earth & Fire.

Earth, voted the 82nd best course in the world according to Golf Digest’s “World Top 100 Golf Courses” and 6th in Golf Digest Middle East’s “Top 10 Courses: 2018 Readers’ Choice”, is the classic one of the two. The Fire course, on the other hand, is more rustic and visually spectacular (even if you don’t golf, you’ll appreciate the views) and definitely more challenging which is why a coherent strategy is needed throughout…sometimes just aiming for the flag might not get you the results you want.

The Clubhouse is the other fun part of a day out to the golf course, inside you’ll find facilities for other sports and leisure activities. Book here.

Dubai Creek

Nothing quite matches up to the immediate sense of style you feel when you spend the day at a “country” club, and the Golf & Yacht club is no different. Having been opened since 1993, this place has left its mark in Dubai as family friendly and a top spot to watch various tournaments and events. The Clubhouse, as seen in the Instagram picture below, is a photo-op favourite amongst tourists due to its stunning architecture. If you’ve got a yacht, then this is also the perfect place to dock, or rent a boat for the day.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Arabian Ranches is one of the oldest and most well known gated communities in Dubai. Nowadays, it seems like a new glamorous culdesac with an LA-inspired name pops up overnight. Arabian Ranches has it all, gorgeous houses, shops and most importantly, a 560-yard golf course, the child of Open Championship winner Ian Baker-Finch back in 2006. Whether you’re a long time, expert golfer or a beginner, the course accommodates both skill levels and any in between.

Which one of these is your favourite place to golf in Dubai? If we didn’t include one of them, then let us know so we can amend our list based on your recommendation!
