While it’s tempting to snuggle up with the next binge-able TV series, blankets and hot cocoa in hand, don’t. Do better. Take that blanket and go out into the manicured wilderness of JLT Park to enjoy their free outdoor ‘Cinema Under the Stars’. The annual movie night screenings are back for 2026-2027 and the best part? The screenings are absolutely free!
What to expect on the free cinema nights
All the free movie screenings at JLT start at 7:30PM sharp and are open to locals and visitors alike. The movies will be screened in English with Arabic subtitles for ease. You can register your spot in the park for outdoor cinema nights in Dubai. And don’t forget to carry popcorn!
The lawn is first come, first served, so arrive early if you want a good patch. You can bring your own chair, blanket, food and drinks, as long as you clean up when the film ends. Pets are, unfortunately, not allowed.
And if you want a reserved spot? A beanbag and a large bucket of popcorn costs AED 30 and puts you near the front. Our insider tip? Beanbags tend to go fast on animation nights, so book early for those.
