The yummiest hummus spots in Dubai

All hail the chickpea!
All hail the chickpea!
If there’s one thing that’s universally agreed, its that hummus wins as best dip by a landslide, right? We’ve compiled a list of a few restaurants with some out of this world hummus (and other Middle Eastern faves).

Zaroob

Zaroob‘s name translates to small alley in English and was inspired from the typical food vendors you see in the streets of the Levant region. The food at Zaroob can be described as the most wholesome and authentic version of Arabic cuisine. Other than the delicious hummus, there are a plethora of the most popular Arabic dishes to choose from on the menu. Enjoy the colourful aesthetic and cosy ambience!

Al-Khaima

With views of the seaside in the picture perfect Le Royal Meridien Resort, Al Khaima serves up delicious food (great hummus) and provides the relaxed holiday vibe that we all need! With the best Middle Eastern cuisine, come here for lunch, dinner or just to hang out and smoke some shisha!

Operation Falafel

You can find this Lebanese chain scattered across multiple areas in the city and although the name includes falafel (another food item that’s popular in the UAE), they’ve established their reputation as the place to come for the ultimate shawarma, falafel (duh) and hummus! We can tell you that they don’t disappoint.

Al Hamidieh

We recommend coming to Al Hamidieh for breakfast because they’re known for their massive spreads that take on an Arabic twist. Our favourite location is in the Marina because of the tranquillity of being by the water…have a look at the video below if you need evidence!
