What goes together better than fireworks and the festival of lights?
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights and for those of you who have never been in the city during this celebration, you’re in for quite the aesthetic treat. The entire city becomes lit up with various types of lights all over – it looks quite similar to the Christmas light display you might be more accustomed to seeing on people’s houses in the neighbourhood. Walking around the lights feels like you’re in some kind of dream or fairytale, you can’t help but get a sense of a magical and positive vibe. There will be tons of LED tea lights and diya in Al Seef until November 10th from 5-10pm on weekdays and 5pm-midnight on weekends. The entire area will emulate a Bollywood vibe and you’ll even have the opportunity to watch various Diwali performances!
As with any festival, it’s mandatory to light up the sky with some fireworks and if any of you have celebrated NYE in the city, you know that Dubai really goes all out. If you want to catch the show, it’ll be held at Al Seef 8:30 tomorrow (November 8th) and stick around for the lighting ceremony which is an absolute marvel to witness.
