Ravers, prepare to bring the house down with some house music. Defected Records is set to wow Dubai for a second time. After a successful inaugural festival in 2023, the Defected Dubai music festival will reappear from November 9-10. This time though, the sun-soaked, weekend-long party has been cut short from three days to just two days.

They’re returning to the scenes of their 2023 triumph- the JA Resort in Jebal Ali. Staying true to Defected’s classic beach parties and pool parties that have rocked European venues, including Glastonbury, Dubai, will also be treated to the same programme. While Day 1 will see revellers groove away at Soul Beach’s shores, house music hedonism switches locations on Day 2 to the resort pool.
Who’ll be playing at Defected Dubai?
The line-up for the 2023 event included house, electronic and dance-pop music legends such as Groove Armada! The full concert roster for 2024 has been released and sees a return by Sam Divine and Monki, headlining acts by French house DJ Folamour, and Canadian music producer A-Trak.

Ticket options are flexible and allow you to jam to the beats of only a single event ( Saturday or Sunday) for AED 250 per person or go all out and buy yourself an AED 350 weekend pass. These Early Bird ticket prices are only around for a limited time – so don’t miss out! For tickets and info, head to the Defected Dubai website.
The city’s music festival scene has been blowing up with big international festivals launching Dubai editions. Last year UNTOLD Dubai enthralled the region’s music lovers with a massive concert in Expo City. Korea’s epic Waterbomb Music Festival will shower Dubai with (artificial) rains and K-pop music in June. We for one don’t want the music (and music-related news) to stop at all!
