Dinner with a view is one thing, but what about a gourmet meal that moves with the city’s best sights? Imagine cruising past Dubai’s illuminated landmarks while savouring multiple courses from the comfort of a panoramic, glass-roofed bus. That is the concept behind Bustronome, a “voyage gourmand” that combines fine dining with a city tour. This experience elevates sightseeing into a sophisticated culinary journey.
The adventure begins at night, with the city lights providing a memorable backdrop for a tour that engages both your eyes and your taste buds.
A Culinary Tour Past City Icons
The tour starts near the Museum of the Future, where guests board a sleek, double-decker bus. The interior is arranged like a contemporary restaurant, complete with set tables and special holders to keep your glasses stable during the ride. The evening begins with a glass of alcohol-free champagne and fresh bread, setting the tone for the meal ahead.
As the bus starts its route, the first of the courses arrives. The meal opens with a Bavarian beetroot starter featuring passion fruit gel, aged black balsamic, and a light avocado espuma. This is followed by a second starter of eggplant caviar served with a Greek yogurt espuma. While dining, the bus passes views of Sheikh Zayed Road, an illuminated mosque, and the Zabeel Palace.
Main Courses and Downtown Lights
For the main courses, the menu features a pan-seared salmon with summer vegetables and a light cumin tomato foam. As the bus heads toward Downtown Dubai, the final savoury dish is served: a slow-braised shredded beef. This tender course comes on a bed of smoked celery purée with sautéed shimeji mushrooms and a slow-reduced sauce. It’s served just as the bus offers clear views of the Burj Khalifa.

The meal concludes with two desserts. First, an exotic fruit coulis with coconut sorbet and coconut chips acts as a palate cleanser. This is followed by a final sweet treat of chocolate-covered berries, served as the bus loops back with the city skyline in full view.
The dinner tour departs from the Museum of the Future and lasts approximately two and a half hours, running from 8PM to 10:30 PM. Booking in advance through the official website is recommended to secure a table.
