- Not far behind is McFatty, the alpha male King Penguin. Born on 29/03/2010 under the fiery sign of Aries, McFatty was famously so chunky at birth that he struggled to hatch from his own egg. Today, he makes up for it by asserting his dominance, keeping other penguins away from what he considers his trainers and his guests.
- Pop, a younger King Penguin born on 02/03/2016, waddles as a Pisces and the first King Penguin born and raised in Ski Dubai. Born with cataracts, he underwent successful surgery. Now, he moves with visible confidence, forming strong bonds with his feathered peers.
- Among the Gentoos, Lollipop glides rather than waddles. Born on 09/12/2010 and a Sagittarius, she is known for her calm, sweet nature and her surprising talent as one of Ski Dubai’s star painters. Even when other female Gentoos boss her around, Lollipop maintains her signature graceful walk that everyone adores.
- Then there is Pecan, born on 31/01/2016 under Aquarius energy. Incredibly smart and easily distracted, Pecan is known for declaring “I love you” to her male trainers. Brave, curious and romantic, she was the first baby penguin to accept human touch and remains endlessly fascinated by her human companions.
From fleece gloves to locker rental, everything is taken care of. All you need to do is arrive early and lean into the experience. That alone makes the experience in Dubai personal rather than touristy.
