Sometimes we just wanna have a chill night out and go back to one of the oldest activities out there; some good ol’ fashioned bowling! Here are our top four places in Dubai:
Dubai Bowling Centre
Recently renovated this past summer, the bowling centre in Al Quoz is possibly one of the hidden gems in the city? As is obvious by the name, there’s a bowling alley, but what many don’t know is that there’s also a quaint little arcade area with all the best games if you want a break from some bowling. There’s also a cute cafe right next to it as well to keep you fully hydrated and nourished throughout your game!
📍: DBC, Al Quoz
Switch Bowling
Switch is a combination of the ambience at a crazy golf course and a bowling alley… aka one of the coolest and most unique bowling places you’ll ever find. The lights are usually dimmed pretty low and there’s disco balls on the ceiling to transform it into more of a party vibe! This is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a mood booster before you continue on a night out.
📍: Switch Bowling, at Ibn Battuta Mall
Yalla Bowling
With a name like Yalla, you just know this is a place where you’ll have a good time and lots of laughs. Sometimes we all need a break from the hectic malls in Dubai and just take it easy with some friendly competition! Magic Planet is also home to a massive arcade, which is another way to take a walk down memory road and play the games we loved when we were kids (its also a good idea for a date night?)
📍: Magic Planet, Mirdif City Centre & Mall of the Emirates
Al Nasr Leisureland, in Oud Mehta
One of the older activity centre’s in the city, coming here is a nice opportunity to discover a little bit around Old Dubai (the Creek is a must!). Al Nasr Leisureland keeps it simple with an 8-lane bowling alley and a bar (two things that couldn’t go more perfect with one another). Of course, just like PB & J, there’s no bowling alley without an ice skating rink!
