Cricket fans, it’s the time of the year when Asia’s top cricket teams battle it out for glory – Asia Cup 2023 kicks off today. From August 30 to September 17, the cricket tournament will see the national cricket teams of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh chase victory in 13 ODI (One Day International) matches.
Where is the Asia Cup 2023 happening?
While the UAE had the honour of hosting the Asia Cup in 2022, this year’s hotly anticipated showdown is being co-hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Match venues are being split between stadiums in both countries and the thrilling final will unfold on September 17 at Sri Lanka’s R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
