Dubai is no stranger to the Armani range of culinary excellence. The Italian fashion house’s four Burj Khalifa restaurants are shining stars of Dubai’s dining scene – Armani Ristorante boasts a literal Michelin star. Joining that impeccable list of luxurious eateries is a brand-new Armani Caffe in Dubai Mall.
This is the UAE’s first Armani Caffe; yes, an Emporio Armani Caffe exists in the Mall of the Emirates but that’s associated with Armani’s diffusion line. Occupying prime real estate in Fashion Avenue, the stylish new cafe is located bang opposite the Giorgio Armani boutique. With an open-plan layout inspired by Italy’s pavement cafes, the airy coffee shop is a great spot for people-watching and to be seen at.
Tastefully done up in signature Armani motifs and muted blues and greens, the luxurious coffee shop has an equally tasteful menu full of Italian hits. Whether you’re hankering for a big breakfast, light lunches or just juice or coffee-on-the-go, all demands are met here.
Piedmont’s classic vitello tonnato, lobster and seafood bisque are antipasti options while lemon-scented risotto with Sicilian prawns and veal Milanese are highlights of the main course.
When you work your way down to desserts and coffee, Italian indulgence gets the quintessential golden Dubai makeover – a white chocolate and gold leaf cheesecake and Armani gold latte bling things up. Signature non-alcoholic spritzes and mocktails round off the offerings.
This is the second fashion cafe to mushroom in the Dubai Mall. Earlier last month, NYC brand Coach opened their first Middle East cafe in Dubai. However, unlike the Coach pop-up, the Armani Caffe will be a permanent fixture in Dubai Mall, making it your new go-to spot for mid-shopping spree snack breaks.
