Running out of ideas as the month comes to a close? We’ve assembled a list of fun, fabulous and free (in one case) things to do in Dubai this weekend that are a sure-shot recipe for an eventful finish to February.
1. Drink and dance at a Jack Daniels-themed rock n’ roll event at Crafty Fox gastropub

Whiskey lovers, this one’s for you. Crafty Fox, the sleek sports bar in Jumeirah Golf Estates has a neat little event happening from February 24-26 called Jack n’ Roll weekends that, as the name suggests, combines Jack Daniels whiskey and rock n’ roll. This one goes beyond the usual Jack n Coke, trust us. For the next 3 days, you can enjoy a plethora of Jack Daniels drinks and even foods inspired by the iconic Tennessee whiskey that was Frank Sinatra’s favourite. The rock part of things will be rolled in by Dubai-based rock band Problem Child DXB.
Dates: From 6pm to 10pm on February 24 and 25; from 1pm to 5pm on February 26
2. Immerse yourself in dreamy duets of a piano and violin at this InClassica concert

InClassica, the UAE’s largest music festival is running until March 10. This Sunday, February 26, will see Italian pianist Giuliano Mazzoccante and Belgian violinist Marc Bouchkov take to the stage at Coca-Cola Arena. These talented soloists will perform a mix of both romantic and baroque compositions as well as more contemporary scores. This two-hour concert is the perfect way to end your weekend on a relaxing and soothing note.
Date: February 26
Timing: 8pm

3. Leap and bound for joy at the world’s largest inflatable bouncy castle in Dubai

Why should kids have all the fun? Inflatable park JumpX is Dubai’s newest record-breaking structure (yes, another one) and it is for all ages. That means adults are welcome to let loose and jump and whoop and do cartwheels, if you can, at what is the world’s largest inflatable bouncy castle park and has a Guinness World Record to prove it. You can find out how big it exactly is, the different levels and obstacle courses it includes, as well as the more mundane details of timings and prices here.
4. Run through foam and bubbles in the UAE’s first Bubble Run
‘Childlike fun’ seems to be the core message for things to do in Dubai this weekend and hey, we’re not complaining. Adulting is no walk in the park. Which is why we recommend running through Bluewaters this Sunday at the UAE’s first-ever Bubble Run. The international running race concept has done the rounds of cities around the world and is finally making its UAE debut. It combines the relaxation of a bubble bath, the calorie burn of a treadmill and the wholesome joy of chasing bubbles and it’s non-competitive, so you can run at your own pace. Find all the details here.
5. Dine at Tap House’s new Souk Al Bahar location for iconic Downtown Dubai views
Tap House, the homegrown joint that’s been a fixture of the Palm Jumeirah and Club Vista Mare dining scene has now ventured further north with a new location in Downtown Dubai. This new branch has all of the original’s delectable European-inspired and Pan-Asian food, a selection of both international draught beers and house brew and live entertainment. But what sets this fresh venue a notch above and pushes it to the top 5 of our list of things to do in Dubai this weekend are the scintillating views it offers from its outdoor terrace, where a private floating deck overlooks the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. New Instagram spot alert!
6. Keep the Sunday scaries at bay with this Quiz Night and roast buffet

The joy and comfort of a good old fashion Sunday roast cancels out the dread of the week ahead (aka Sunday scaries) at Spike Bar in Emirates Golf Club. You’ll find yourself digging into a hearty meal of beef roast, root vegetables and Yorkshire pudding sat on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lush rolling greens of the golf course. That’s topped by the thrill of an engaging quiz night which will ensure your grey cells stay sharp despite the food coma. In fact, this is Dubai’s longest-running pub quiz so you’ll have to have your wits about.
Timing: Every Sunday; from 7:30pm-10pm
Price: AED 100 per person
7. Groove the night away at Jazz Garden’s Big Jam Concerts series
Phileas Fogg Arena at Dubai’s Montgomerie Golf Academy is where the party’s at tonight! The Jazz Garden is hosting a thrilling new set of weekly concerts called The Big Jam Series that will take place every Friday until the end of 2023! The inaugural concert kicks off tonight, February 24 and if you haven’t purchased tickets yet, get them here. Singer-songwriters Chinua Hawk and Tracey Preston will serenade you, followed by DJ Max who will pump up the volume and the energy until 3am in the morning. Food and beverages will be available at the venue and tickets cost AED 95.
8. Enjoy an epic party at this bottomless R&B brunch
We promised you two themed brunches at the start of this article and true to our words, here’s the second one – Old School R&B Brunch. This popular UK-born party experience has got New York and Germany slow jamming to nineties hits for hours on end. It’s Dubai’s turn to do the same on February 25 at Ole in Souk Al Bahar. A two-course meal will let you gorge on unlimited starters, delish mains and more and karaoke challenges and other fun activities will make this a rocking party experience like no other. Find details here.
9. Camp in the middle of the city at this Salt pop-up camp
Dubai-based burger brand Salt’s annual winter pop-up is one of the things to do in Dubai this weekend and the next few. This 4th edition sees the brand return to its camping grounds by the foot of the Museum of the Future. The 2023 campsite is highly instagrammable, features live entertainment and delicious campfire food and hands you a great glamping experience without having to head out into the desert. In fact, it brings the desert into the city and camels are involved. That’s all we’ll say. Find out details about timings, dates and menu here.
10. Watch a free movie under the stars at this park in JLT
If you can only do one thing in Dubai this weekend, make it this. Because it’s FREE! JLT Park’s weekly Cinema Under the Stars screenings are the perfect excuse to ditch Netflix binges at home and go out and relish the glorious and short-lived winter weather. Until March 18, you can enjoy alfresco movie nights every at the JLT Park in Cluster Q. Just ensure you get there on time and nab a good beanbag spot. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your own snacks!
